Happy spring equinox! The birds are chirping, bees are buzzing, the clouds look like bunnies, and I’m ready to take some amazing pictures outside in the sun. I love how the season change and warm weather adds life back to everything you see, leaving it so bright and airy.
Around this time of year when I lived in Maryland, spring had many questionable forecasts. Now living in Texas, I’m getting a taste of what the summer months to come may look like and it’s beautiful. No, I’m not kidding, this weekend it was perfect 72 degrees with a slight breeze.
When it comes to my wardrobe being comfortable is important. My search for chic tops always leads me to off the shoulder styles. I know they are graceful and flowy, but not being able to raise my arms is a no go.
So, when I found this airy pastel blue striped top at Forever 21 I was in heaven. I’m seeing more and more pastels this spring so having this top with its ruched puffed sleeves, and the keyhole back is perfect for me.
I just can’t believe how perfect this top is for the spring or summer. Since it was windy I decided to match this top with one of my favorite pair of skinny jeans. I completed this look with a little color from these mustard ballet flats.
